At the beginning of the year we made three goals for our class. Out of the three goals I created I only accomplished two of them. The first goal I accomplished was that I would create better speaking skills for myself. Over the course of the class I have talked to a lot more people than I have ever talked to. With all the interacting we have done as a class I feel like my social skills has went up. The other goal that I had accomplished was that we had fixed more computer problems since we got chromebooks. Once we got the chromebooks we ran into a lot of problems with them. Even if it was just the battery, internet, or a little issue with it. Our IT class has fixed a lot of chromebooks this year and it has mostly been dealing with the wifi. But other then that we have fixed most of the chromebook issues in the school. The one goal that we have not accomplished yet is working together to get people's materials. The reason why we have not accomplished this is because every time there was a chromebook problem we fixed it individually. One of my favorite blog posts was on the tutorial about keyboard shortcuts. The reason I liked the keyboard shortcuts so much is because it was cool looking at all of the different things you can do on a keyboard. I felt like the keyboard shortcuts post was one of my best posts because I put a lot of work into it. Another blog post that I liked was the app reveiw about Remind 101. The reason I liked this app reveiw so much is because this is the app reveiw I put a lot of work into and I knew about this app more than any other app. The one blog post that I feel like needed the most work was the special character tutorial. The reason why I think it needs the most work done is because I done it quick and it wasn't that good of a tutorial. Another reason why it needed more work is because it was pretty easy to figure out how to draw the special character instead of looking through a whole list of them. I think this class will end up becoming a great class in the future. I feel like the class will grow because it teaches students project management skills and leadership skills. I think this class should continue having app reviews and tutorials for the fact that teachers look at the student's work if they done something they need or wanted broke down. But if we did have something new to learn I would like to have learned more about technology since we dealt with a lot of chromebooks. If we had spent more time talking about technology I felt like I would have been interested in it more. I like technology now but I would have been a lot more involved in things if we learned more about technology. Some new technology that we need to explore more is the 3D printer and the chromebooks. The only reason why I want to explore the 3D printer more is because I think seeing it print something in 3D would be cool. We also need to look at the Chromebooks more. Even though we had chromebooks all year and helped fix issues on them I feel like we should have gone into it more. Im saying that I feel like our IT class should have had access to more things than other students just because we helped fix the issues on them. The access that I think we should have got was having less things blocked on our chromebooks. The reason why I think we should have less things blocked is because we needed to use a lot of websites that were blocked on our chromebooks. Some tips that I would have for future students is that even if it doesn't seem like an important class you should still try and put a lot of effort into your work. Another tip is that you can still have fun in this class as long as you get your work done.

One ISTE standard that I feel like I have mastered is Creative Communicator. I feel like I have done well with this standard over the past week. I have used the standard Creative Communicator in most of the app reviews and and tutorials I have done in class. The tutorials and the app reviews I have made are suppose to help students or teachers understand my ideas through my website or by the models I made (Tutorials). I made an app review that shows students how to use keyboard shortcuts. Even though it wasn't flashy or perfect it still provided a clear explanation on how to do them. Not many people understand the shortcuts unless they have a visual image to look at and I understand because I would rather have a visual image to look at. But ever since I been making tutorials and app reviews I have felt like i mastered the ISTE standard Creative Communicator. (There are screen shots below that are part of my keyboard shortcuts tutorial.)
A goal can be one of the most important things to have for yourself. Many people don’t have goals but people that do usually end up successful You can pretty much have goals for anything you do. In our IT Student Help Desk class we have created goals for this semester. We made three goals to try and become better as a class. The three goals I have are:
